But since the Para1 doesn't have full liners, you have to be very careful not to make the slots too deep, for if you make the slots too deep and they go through the G-10, there's no backing material for the clip to seat against. The steel liners would then act as the backing surface that the clip presses snugly against. It's much easier to do this on a knife with full liners, as you can remove the scales and cut the slots all the way through the G-10, then reattach.
